A recent visitor The Hill felt compelled to write to us about her family's visit.

We share parts of her view here:

"Yesterday, my son, his girlfriend and I were able to go the Hill. This was their first trip to (the) Hill and will not be their last. . .

We had a great day, and the car was loaded when we returned to Illinois, and did the car ever smell good ... To make this short, we started off at Vitalie's for that wonderful cinnamon bread, I immediately placed 6 loaves on counter. . . From there, we went to Missouri Baking Co., as I had to bring back cherry strudel for another son, also, for me those wonderful fig cookies and believe me I could have purchased much more, next time I am getting the apple strudel. . . Then I got serious, we went to DiGregorio's, and  I watched their faces as we went into the store, priceless, their eyes widened and my son said " oh my gosh",  I am a gonner . . . The people at this store are friendly and wonderful, answer questions and are just great.   We are already planning our second trip in about 8 weeks.  If they can wait that long.
